Flood Relief
Newport, TN
Irwin, TN
We have taken in two families affected by Hurricane Helene. One family consists of
three members located in Newport, TN, while the other is a family of five residing in
Erwin, TN. Both families have children with special needs and lacked flood insurance,
leaving them unable to restore their homes after three feet of floodwaters devastated
their properties. We have completely taken out all subflooring, drywall, and insulation
from their homes. After treating the areas for mold and ensuring they were thoroughly
dried, we replaced all the removed materials with new subflooring, insulation, and
drywall. Currently, we are in the process of installing new bathrooms, kitchens, doors,
trim and appliances.Our goal is to have the families’ homes ready by the holidays!
